Presently, New Beginnings-Dyson Circle, My Choice, and S. D. Spady are looking for volunteers. Please contact representatives from those schools for opportunities.

• To assist in enhancing the reading, math and social skills of the students attending the program
• To assist with the student’s homework, arts, crafts, organized games and any other activities as requested by the center director

At least 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

• Able to walk, sit, stand, kneel and crouch
• Works enthusiastically and encouragingly with the participants
• Conducts self in a responsible and professional manner
• Uses initiative and autonomy in supervising students
• Carries out requests and directives from the program director in a timely, professional manner
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a divers community.
