This "hands-on"
workshop gives participants the tools to write winning
proposals. Participants will learn how to read and understand
simple to complex Request for Proposals (RFPs); how
to avoid fatal flaws; how to collect data that justify
the need for their programs; how to identify partners
and collaborators; and how to find grants that are in
line with their organization's mission.

This workshop
targets anyone interested in learning how to write a
grant (whether a beginner or a skilled writer), including,
but not limited to:
- Grantwriting Teams for schools, faith-based and
nonprofit organizations, and libraries.

This workshop
gives participants the tools to prepare budgets that
match their grant proposal. Too many times a grant application
is rejected because of incorrect or inappropriate budgets.
This workshop will teach participants some of the proven
steps in developing a budget that complements the narrative
part of their proposal.
Note:
During the first hour of this workshop, attendants will
learn how to search for grants that meet their specific
needs.

is for anyone responsible for developing the budget
portion of their organization's grant applications,
